I would recommend just stopping for lunch in Drumnadrochit, the hotels are well overpriced and all cashing in on the monster theme. We were even charged £16,50 for a wine and a beer in one of the hotels down the road where we were thinking of going for dinner. A real rip off.DorothySpain - 10Scored 10

Free car park. Lots of facilities - supermarket, chip shop, cafes, petrol station. Gift shops, Church etc Plus Loch Ness Exhibition Centre round the corner and pick up point for excellent 1 hour Loch Ness boat cruise. Plus Urquhart Castle very near by.

The views from the house and the terrace across Loch Ness are beautiful. We had breakfast on the terrace ( yes it was warm and sunny ) which was a nice way to start the day. The breakfast was great with a complete range offered. I would strongly recommend the Drovers Lodge as a place to stay.

Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend.
