I would recommend just stopping for lunch in Drumnadrochit, the hotels are well overpriced and all cashing in on the monster theme. We were even charged £16,50 for a wine and a beer in one of the hotels down the road where we were thinking of going for dinner. A real rip off.DorothySpain - 10Scored 10

Free car park. Lots of facilities - supermarket, chip shop, cafes, petrol station. Gift shops, Church etc Plus Loch Ness Exhibition Centre round the corner and pick up point for excellent 1 hour Loch Ness boat cruise. Plus Urquhart Castle very near by.

They also gave me a complimentary coffee upon leaving with a nice chit chat. I highly recommend this hotel, and even though I was the only customer there at the time (which was very unusual but to be expected at the end of October), i believe this is the place to be in High season in Drummnadrochit: they have their own bar, kitchen and live music!WilliamUnited Kingdom

Rooms and bathrooms were clean and the staff was helpful. They have a fully equipped kitchen which can be used by guests. Since there were not many guests, they gave me an entire 4 bed dorm room to myself. Not very social, partially because there were not many guests during winter but the property is worth the price and very centrally located at Loch Ness.

Angela is the perfect host and the accommodation is very comfortable. The views from the house and the terrace across Loch Ness are beautiful. We had breakfast on the terrace ( yes it was warm and sunny ) which was a nice way to start the day. The breakfast was great with a complete range offered. I would strongly recommend the Drovers Lodge as a place to stay.
