Tulloch Castle Hotel, a 12th-century-castle set in the beautiful Highlands of Scotland, a 5-minute drive to the center of Dingwall, offers a 24-hour front desk, a bar and a restaurant.

It was a lovely night in a castle! The grounds outside of the castle were perfect for an evening stroll, The Green Lady bar was a wonderful way to end the evening and it was a pleasure meeting the lady who served us. Breakfast was excellent.

The Waverley Inn, hotel in Dingwall

The Waverley Inn enjoys a location in Dingwall, 14 miles from Inverness Castle and 5.5 miles from Strathpeffer Spa Golf Club.

The little gal at the desk was SO nice!! The rooms were clean and spacious. The beds were comfortable and before and after breakfast, we went for a walk around the area and saw some cool things. The breakfast was "Continental", but there was a fairly large selection of things to choose from. The coffee was WONDERFUL!! 😁 If we come back again and need to stay in that vicinity, we will DEFINITELY go back!!!

Urrard B&B, hotel in Dingwall

Providing quiet street views, Urrard B&B in Dingwall offers accommodations and a garden. This bed and breakfast provides free private parking, daily room service, and free Wifi.

Absolute perfection. For anyone looking to visit Inverness, forget about fancy overpriced generic hotels, this is without a doubt the text book definition of B&B. Rooms - a wonderfully decorated rooms with a highland theme, where even the most fault-finding person would be left speechless. The attention to details rival both in practicality and decor all but the most exclusive hotels. The rooms are a subtle celebration of the Scotland with guest always being the main focus. Amenities - along with the usual features such as kettle, coffee, tea packets etc... the host provided slippers and soft robes, ear plugs, hot water bottles, neck pillows and ferm bed that provided a sleep that even the most carefree feline would envy. In addition, we were welcomed with a drum of of good quality whiskey and two home made deserts in the room. For the first time visitor in the highlands, these simple items leave you in awe, for such simple things elevate this from a overnight stay to lifetime experience. The showers are over excellent quality and pressure, with large cabinets. The room we stayed also had desk in case the need of work should arrive however, it is ones opinion that this would be a most terrible waste of such surroundings 😉. Breakfast - breakfast was a full English with all the trimmings. In addition to this the host heard of my interest in haggis and also provided this for breakfast. Location - fairly easy to find with navigation, located next to another b&b called Garry. For restaurants, only tried one but I can recommend the cottage restaurant. About 30 min walking but definitely worth it. Summary - For anyone looking to start a B&B get a note pad and a few days in here, you'll have all the information you need. I can't imagine a better place for a first stay in the highlands, that being said for those looking for a romantic getaway, this place will not all tick the boxes but create new ones for future reference.

Didn't do much in Dingwall, used the hotel as a base, the main street very run down,if you don't mind driving beautiful scenery everywhere, especially in a trip to Ullapool,it was a very cold and frosty day, stunning,we ate lunch out wherever we went, and ate in the hotel at night,no complaints all round.

Dingwall is a very pleasant wee town in a beautiful part of the country and we found the locals to be very welcoming. It's on the rail route north from Inverness so is easy to get to if you don't want to drive. There a good selection of eating places and Inverness is only 12 miles away if you want a bit more to do.

Quaint little town in the southern highlands, just north of Inverness and away from the stresses of the city traffic… Dingwall provides the best of both worlds, with plenty to do in the local area, easy access to the surrounding areas and peaceful country vibes.

Don't believe in booking.com reviews fully.

Don't believe in booking.com reviews fully. This Inn is the worst 😫 place we have ever stayed in. Receptionist from Hell and breakfast even dog will not touch, no cereal bowls very very cheap. Better to get Tesco or McDonald's for £5 for your own good. Toilet 🚻 was broken shower 🚿 and no one to fix it 😢. Only have good wall painting and decorations with bad odour or smells as other people said (something or someone died or rotten for months???). Don't believe anything nowadays with fake reviews by Booking.com Admin. They will be hanging up the phone when complaining about issues 😒...

The bothy was at an excellent location, close to Dingwall and Inverness but far enough to enjoy the remoteness of Scotland. It was a very comfortable house with everything I needed and since I had quite some tough hikes before this stay it was great to have the luxury if this bothy. I spent 3 days here, one with a nice 7 mile walk around the bothy, the second day was spent in Inverness and the third day I had to drive for 1 hour to climb the An Teallach ridge. So much to do and everything close by.. loved it!

This hotel being in a small remote like village, the building has its old look about its self and once inside has that old/rustic feeling towards it. Floors later with tartan and has that Scot vibe! Has the creaky floorboards which just add to that old feeling, but it’s not a bad feeling it’s just a cozy feeling! Overall a very very nice hotel for the price/area if your interested in doing the NC500

Location was great for getting into Dingwall and right by the station if we needed to get into Inverness. The accommodation was beautifully presented and decorated with everything very clean. Towels provided as well as all cleaning materials etc and basics for the kitchen. There was also breakfast items available for the first morning which was an unexpected surprise.

Hotel was not the one we booked. We booked the Waverley hotel, however the owner was renovating the George hotel. We had to walk to the George hotel at end of the street. Rooms were OK, shower very poor and only continental breakfast. Poor value.
